We call these repeated activities habits. Your mind is an amazing instrument and it is broken down into two areas; Your conscience and sub-conscience. ●The conscience part of your mind is where you actively think about the things you are doing or saying. ●The subconscious part of your mind handles all the automatic thoughts that are required for living. There is no way for you to operate throughout the day without engaging habits. Your conscience mind can only handle one thought at a time. Most people believe they can multitask by doing several things at once. Scientists have discovered that the mind only works on one item at a time. When you multitask you switch from one thought to another so quickly, it seems as though you are thinking about multiple things simultaneously. However, if you can only think of one thing at a time your sub-conscience mind must deal with everything else.
